Mizutsune was the first new Monster to join Monster Hunter Wilds and was added to the game in Title Update 1. Additionally, its Soulseer Deviant from Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate was combined with its normal version, being able to go Soulseer if you have gotten the initial Head break, enabling its Fire bubbles and 2 new powerful attacks. Mizutsune is a Leviathan first introduced in MHGen.
Monster Characteristics:
Specially evolved leviathans with sleek,
lithe bodies, Mizutsune can secrete
a peculiar foam that covers their foes
in immobilizing bubbles. Once their prey's
movement is impaired, they'll close
in with spry, dance-like movements.
Helpful Hints:
The foam of a Mizutsune allows it to move
with incredible agility even on land, but
that's not all. Different kinds of foam
produce unique effects, such as inflicting
bubbleblight, healing hunters, or boosting
your attacks. They can even employ an
explosive foam when angered. If you are
inflicted with bubbleblight, you'll be left
open for longer after taking an attack,
so fix yourself up quickly with a cleanser.

Mizutsune has a hand full of attacks that it only uses when it is in its Soulseer state (when its eye glows blue). However it can be locked out of all of these these attacks by not getting the first Head break on it.
