Sparkly fish often found in slow currents. They are in high demand for aquariums, and their scales fetch a pretty zenny, too. They used to be considered a Fish, which you could get by using a Fishing Rod and where called Small Goldenfish when first introduced in the series, but have been changed to Endemic Life since MHWorld and then to Aquatic Life in MHWilds. Goldenfry is a Aquatic Life first introduced in MHF.

Their distinctive traits—the short body, the
long, broad fins—are not commonly seen in
nature, leading some researchers to believe
an anthropogenic factor might be at play.
