Fish with stunning golden scales covering their bodies. Their scales fetch high prices as accessory materials. They used to be considered a Fish, which you could get by using a Fishing Rod when first introduced in the series, but have been changed to Endemic Life since MHWorld and then to Aquatic Life in MHWilds. Goldenfish is a Aquatic Life first introduced in MH.

their bodies, it's no wonder these fish are
aquarium staples and often sell for high
prices for use in accessories. Goldenfish
can be found in caves and other places with
no sunlight and calm waters. Conversely,
you will rarely see them out in the sun or
in swift currents. They show a strong
interest in Golden Bugheads.
