Blango generally travel in groups with
a Blangonga leading them. As a pack, they
work together efficiently to eliminate
threats to their territory, responding
instantly to their leader's commands.
Blango are Fanged Beasts native to the Iceshard Cliffs, where they roam in coordinated packs led by the larger and more dominant Blangonga. These creatures thrive in the harsh, frozen environment, their thick white fur insulating them against the cold while giving them natural camouflage in snowy terrain. Blango are rarely encountered alone, and their strength lies in their numbers and cooperation.
Blango are covered in dense white fur, leaving only their hands, bellies, feet, and faces exposed in a darker grey tone. Their tails are also furred, ending in a fluffier tuft. Each hand bears three claws and an opposable thumb, while their feet have four sharp claws. Like Conga, they possess small horns above each eye, though their faces are more baboon-like, marked with striking blue coloration beneath the eyes and a reddish tint along their long noses. Their dentition is unusually human-like, with incisors, canines, and molars—though the upper canines are greatly enlarged, protruding visibly even when the mouth is closed.
Blango are aggressive, using a variety of tactics to drive away hunters and monsters alike. They hurl packed snow, inflicting Iceblight, and can leap forward with surprising agility to swipe with their claws. In addition, they are capable of exhaling frigid blasts of frost breath, capable of freezing victims in place inflicting Frostblight. When attacking in groups, their relentless harassment makes them a significant threat, especially under the direction of a Blangonga.
