Monster Characteristics:
Rathalos possess a special organ called a flame sac. When their breath strikes a target, it explodes violently, and the resulting heat and shockwaves can instantly scorch the target from within. The heat is so intense that unleashing it can even burn their own throats, but their powerful regenerative abilities allow them to heal almost instantly.
During hunts, Rathalos often launch surprise attacks from the air, piercing prey with their razor-sharp talons while injecting a potent venom that causes severe bleeding—often enough to bring down a target in a single strike.
