Monster Characteristics:
Nergigantes' bodies are covered in dark, hardened spikes that regenerate instantly when damaged in battle. Newly grown spikes are milky white, softer, and easily broken. If left intact, they oxidize, turn black, and harden. Through repeated destruction and regrowth, they eventually form a tough mail.
While hunting, Nergigantes continuously regenerate and harden their spikes. Once a large number of spikes have oxidized, they slam their bodies into prey, scattering hardened spikes in all directions in a devastating attack.
When their health is critically low, Nergigantes will unleash the energy they have absorbed by devouring elder dragons, greatly enhancing their physical capabilities.
