Monster Characteristics:
Barroths' windpipes are located on top of their heads, where the strongest armor on their bodies is found. They cover themselves with mud for extra protection and fling thick mud to hinder their opponents while hunting.
Barroths are known for their ferocious charge attacks, but they sometimes charge too wildly and crash into obstacles. When fighting over territory, males slam their heads against each other, sometimes so hard that they severely damage their scalps or even die.
Barroths' mud armor can be washed off with environmental moisture or water weapons. If they sense that their mud coatings are lacking, they may retreat to a mud pit and take a mud bath to rebuild their defenses, even in the middle of a hunt.
